For six years, Ritrovo founders Ron Post and Ilyse Rathet lived in Italy, studying, traveling and researching Italian foods and wines. Along the way they met and gradually built relationships with talented, small scale producers throughout the country. Ilyse and Ron also developed a passion for the food and products that they found. These foods came to “tell a story” – of centuries old tradition, the value of diversity, and the implications of supporting small farm production.
