Manny Canales, his wife Michelle and their three daughters started their own organic farm in 1990 and became organic certified in 1994, now farming about 100 acres in both Yakima and Concrete Washington, which allows them to lengthen the growing season. The Canales grow Asparagus, Yakima Table Grapes, a German Interlachen variety, delicious Boysenberries, Blueberries and Raspberries as well as Concord Grapes and a few other varieties which can also be found in the organic wine produced by Badger Mountain Vineyard.
