Rama Farm

Bridgeport, Washington

Rama Farm - organic peach harvestIn 1991 a 26 acre piece of property overlooking the Columbia River just north of Bridgeport was up for sale. The property came with 3.5 acres of 1 & 2 year old peach and nectarine trees and a less-than-perfect water right to irrigate 6 acres from the river. With the financial help of friends, Rick and Marilynn Lynn bought the property and began a life long dream of making a sustainable livelihood from the land. The farm has been certified organic since 1993.

Most of the acreage is peaches, apricots, grapes and wildlife habitat. With the remaining acreage they have integrated alpacas to provide an on-farm nitrogen source, additional products to sell with their fruit at farmers markets, and breeding stock. We love Rama Farm peaches, if you’ve never had one of their peaches, you’ve never had a peach at the peak of its juicy potential!
