Meet a Full Circle Farmer: Okanogan Producers Marketing Association
Organic Producers Marketing Association (OPMA) is a group of six farmers in Okanogan County who have joined together to form a co-op that allows them to pool their resources and better reach lovers of high quality fruits. Among the many benefits of a co-operative, sharing marketing and transportation costs are the highlights for a farm region that is a five-hour drive to the Puget Sound corridor.
They also share resources, equipment, knowledge and expertise. The close relationships between the farmers, benefits their customers, offering them high quality produce and service from small, knowledgeable and dedicated farms.
Since 2006 the OPMA has forged strong connections with their markets and developed a reputation for excellent quality fruit and produce. Their prompt transportation of produce from field to market maintains their high quality standards and guarantees the best from the field gets into your hands.
Each of the six farms that comprise the OPMA are certified organic by the USDA as well as the WSDA and together offer a wide variety of seasonal organic fruits and vegetables from July through December.
