Artisan Groceries

Overview Pacific NW   California
As well as partnering with other farms, we collaborate with various producers of additional groceries. We choose only the best in taste, quality, and sustainability. Most groceries are certified organic, and all are the best in their field. From small artisan cheeses to small-batch, roasted organic peanut butter, each product is chosen for its outstanding flavor and commitment to quality.
We’ve scoured the inland roads, the mountain passes and coastline towns looking for that unique jam, that specialty salt, that amazing product that will make your guest go “Wow! What is this?!” Now our sources can be your sources. Sustainably produced, magnificently crafted creations for your table from the best the Northwest has to offer.
Bringing together the best in Bay Area culinary artisans wasn’t easy. There’s just so much to choose from, but we’ve managed to find just the right amount of delicious culinary delights, that secret sauce, that special ingredient you won’t be able to live without. We bring the best local farmers markets have to offer, right to you.

We look for producers like Theo Chocolates—producers that are dedicated to sustainability, that exemplify what it means to be fair-trade and organic. Although not all of our artisan products are certified organic, they are always of the highest quality and craftsmanship.

Some artisans are small batch specialists, like Link Lab of Seattle, Washington, who creates inspiring new flavors of sausage; others are working farms like Grace Harbor Farm, making the highest quality yogurt; all of them are individuals with a passion for true quality. A quality you’ll quickly come to appreciate.

We look for producers like Happy Girl kitchens—producers that are dedicated to sustainability, that exemplify what it means to be a part of their community—and make an incredible line of mouthwatering preserves! Although not all of our artisan products are certified organic, they are always of the highest quality and craftsmanship.

Some artisans are small batch specialists, like Hodo Soy Beanery of Oakland, who creates inspiring fresh styles of tofu; others are working farms like Massa Organics, growing the highest quality brown rice; all of them are individuals with a passion for true quality. A quality you’ll quickly come to appreciate.

Bread, Pasta and Grains
We chose breads, pastas, and grains that exemplify good health, sustainability, and quality. Local artisan bakers make our breads and pizza dough from organic grains; and likewise, our pastas and tortillas are created with care and nutrition in mind. We offer an array of sustainably grown rice, and organic small-farmed grains and baking mixes.

Dairy and Eggs
Organic milk, cream and butter are staple items in Green Grocery. You’ll find milk bottled the old-fashioned way, artisanal yogurt, and butter so good it eats like cheese. We source only organic, cage-free eggs, from vegetarian chickens, absolutely free from GMO feeds or pesticides. Keep an eye on the rotating cheese selection, local specialties tend be gobbled-up fast.

Meat, Seafood, and Tofu
When it comes to high-quality meats, we turn to only local ranchers growing organic and natural meat products in a sustainable way. Beef, chicken, pork, lamb – you’ll find it all in Green Grocery. We also work with small local seafood sources to provide the freshest sustainably sourced seafood products around. Our tofu products are of the highest quality and made by local sustainable producers.

Pantry
We also carry a wide variety of pantry staples in Green Grocery. From bean-to-bar organic chocolate makers, to organic and fair-trade certified coffee that supports small coffee growers in developing countries. You will also find a wide variety of local-made products – like raw honey, jams, and organic vine-ripened tomatoes. You can be sure that each meets high standards of excellence.

Together, let's change the way food is grown.
