Grapefruit and Candied Ginger Mule

8 ounces fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice

4 ounces vodka

8 ounces ginger beer

1 grapefruit, peeled and segmented

2 tablespoons candied ginger, finely chopped

1 tablespoon grapefruit zest, for garnish

Our twist on the typical “Moscow Mule,” the grapefruit adds a refreshing tartness and the candied ginger is a fun – and delicious – addition.


Pour the grapefruit juice and vodka over ice in a shaker glass. Shake, then pour the mixture into serving glasses.

Top off each glass with ginger beer, approximately 2 ounces per glass.

Add the grapefruit segments, candied ginger and grapefruit zest to each glass.
