Early one morning in his Nashville kitchen, Cameron Smith was packing his daughter's lunchbox when frustration hit: he couldn't find nutritious snacks his kids would actually eat. Determined to create something he'd feel proud of and his family would enjoy, Cameron started experimenting. After hundreds of iterations and plenty of assistance from his four kids, he developed pretzels that were both delicious and nutrient-packed.

Together with his friend Brandon Porras, they built Kindling on the belief that better snacks start with better ingredients. They chose expeller-pressed high oleic sunflower oil because it's extracted naturally without heat or chemical solvents.
