Kathryn and Jamie, founders of Heyday Canning Co., once believed canned foods were boring commodities lacking flavor. That changed when they realized the problem wasn't the can, but the lack of imagination inside it. Armed with a pressure canner and Mason jars, they tested exciting, flavorful recipes in their kitchen.
Their first line featured beans, a perfect food made even better when simmered in aromatic, vibrant sauces. Through extensive testing (and one bean bomb experience), Kathryn and Jamie created recipes that transformed their perception of canned food.
