About the producer
In 2010, high school sweethearts Taylor and Tanner Barkin spent a summer teaching themselves screen printing in Tanner's parents' garage in Denver. What began as a way to cure boredom quickly turned into an all-consuming passion. Inspired by Taylor's great-grandparents, who ran "Moore's for Men and Women," an apparel store in Ceres, Calif., during the 1950s, the couple chose the name Moore Collection to honor the family legacy.
After years of reinvesting every penny back into equipment and materials, they eventually outgrew the garage and opened a workshop, where they stayed true to their great-grandparents' values of treating every customer like family and welcoming everyone through their doors. Still today, Tanner draws all their designs by hand, while Taylor handles the business operations.
