About the producer
Bubbies Pickles began in San Francisco in 1982 when Leigh Truex, a real “Bubbie,” started selling her naturally fermented Kosher Dill Pickles at local markets. Known for their signature taste and cloudy brine, her pickles quickly stood out.
In 1989, John and Kathy Gray took over the brand, and over three decades they grew it into the top refrigerated condiment in natural foods nationwide. The beloved matriarch “Bubbie” featured on the label is Kathy’s own grandmother, embodying the brand’s commitment to tradition, authenticity, and family.
Now part of Fermented Food Holdings family of brands, Bubbies continues to produce high-quality fermented and pickled goods, staying true to its roots and gaining loyal fans who value natural, homemade-style foods.
