What started as a middle-school hobby between brothers and best friends became Brendan Cawley's mission to create something better than the mass-produced meat snacks filling store shelves. In 2011, they founded Righteous Felon Craft Jerky, determined to prove that jerky could be both delicious and made with integrity. Working with his family and employees, he kept the operation small and personal, never losing sight of those early days experimenting with flavors.
