About the producer
Stitching entered Jessica Long’s world after the birth of her son when she moved to a new area and was in between jobs. She had always found peace through art and the slow, meditative and tactile experience of using needle and thread to create beauty was especially satisfying. Over the years, she has crafted a library of hand embroidery patterns inspired by our natural world. Jessica encourages everyone who uses her designs to try new things, experiment, and find a style and solutions that are as individual as you are. Hand embroidery is a slow art and it teaches us to take it easy and be in the moment.
