About the producer
In 2015, Affton Coffelt-Shouse started making soy candles as a creative escape in her Bend, Ore., kitchen. What began as a mom's hobby soon blossomed into Broken Top, named after the 9,179-foot extinct volcano visible from their Central Oregon home. By 2016, her father, Steve, joined as Chief Do-er, helping move production from the kitchen to their current production facility.
Surrounded by the Cascade Range's natural beauty, Affton and Steve built their family business on clean, sustainable principles. From soy candles, they've expanded into linen sprays, lotions, and roll-on perfumes, all crafted without parabens or phthalates.
