About the producer

Ashley Albert and Kevin Rodriguez, lifelong friends who met at summer camp, started The Matzo Project with the idea of making matzo more interesting. Ashley describes the flavor approach as inspired by Miami grandmothers — bold and unapologetic. They created a matzo that is sturdier and snappier, and accessible to anyone, whether they grew up eating matzo at Passover or are encountering it for the first time as a cracker.

Some of the Brooklyn-based company's products are certified kosher for Passover by the Orthodox Union, while the rest of their lineup is kosher year-round.
