About the producer
Sarah and Nick loved eating fresh homegrown herbs, but faced a problem: no yard and busy schedules that made traditional gardening impossible. Determined to find a solution, they turned to their windowsills and started sketching ideas. After a few tries, they created their own hydroponic system that was seamless, beautiful, and accessible, proving that foolproof indoor growing was possible.
What began on their Chicago windowsills became Modern Sprout, a company rooted in their hometown, where every product is touched by local hands. Sarah and Nick prioritize manufacturing, assembling, and shipping from Chicago, supporting their community through employment and partnerships with local printers, packaging suppliers, and even food trucks that feed their team. They believe in the beneficial ripple effect that comes from domestic production rather than importing finished goods from overseas. Modern Sprout's mission connects people to plants, leading to healthier individuals and a healthier planet.
