Carso's hand pies, or turnovers, are hand-filled and sealed one at a time. These flaky pastries contain all natural bacon and cage-free eggs, but don't let that stop you from just enjoying them at breakfast time! They're a great quick meal, any time of day. Not certified organic.
About the producer
Family owned and operated, Carso's Pasta has been producing and distributing their homemade-style pastas, quiches and sauces to restaurants and markets all around the Seattle area since 1986. Before their humble beginnings near the Ballard Bridge, founder Dave Brown worked for years as a chef and became known for his pasta specials.
In time, Brown took his homemade pasta-making skills into his own business and it wasn't long before Carso's Pasta Co. gained clients and recognition for their delectable products. Today the business includes Brown's children, Carson and Lane who each have a love for food and working with different ingredients while improving their recipes and expanding their menu. But more than just good food, it's about family—being together and working together.
