
Caramelized onions are mouthwatering and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. They're great as a side or topped on pretty much anything. Feel free to double or triple this recipe if needed.
INSTRUCTIONS
Thinly slice the onions. Heat the olive oil in a large saute pan over medium-low heat. Add the onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions have caramelized and turn deep brown, about 45 minutes. You don't want the onions to brown, so turn the heat down if they start to cook too quickly. Serve on veggie burgers, sandwiches or with other roasted veggies.
