Simple Roasted Asparagus

This is one of our favorite ways to prepare asparagus and it only takes 10 minutes!

SERVING SIZE

4 as a side

INGREDIENTS

1 bunch asparagus, about 1 pound

1 tablespoon olive oil

salt and pepper to taste

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Turn the broiler of your oven on high. Trim off the bottom of the asparagus stalks and place them in a roasting pan (not a glass one, as it can shatter when broiling). Drizzle the olive oil over the top and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 7-10 minutes, until the asparagus is golden brown. Enjoy!
