California Dreaming – Part 3: Before and After
This post written by Full Circle’s Operations Director – Chris Doyle
This week brought more preparation and painting for the main build. Next week you’ll really see the transformation as our coolers, storage and packing lines all go up. Things are picking up speed and building fast. We’ll be packing boxes out of our new warehouse in a little over a month!
Our main office entryway is completed, all we need are the desks, chairs, doors, files cabinets, white boards, computers, printers and people to fill them up! Alright, we’re still a ways a way, but we’re gaining ground.
Bits and pieces of our packing line have arrived. As you can see in the next photo we are going to use this equipment to create a packing line very similar to the one at our Kent, Washington facility.
The foundation for our packing assembly. A nicely lit, cleanable packing line. This is what we are modeling for our South SF facility.
Our sinks have arrived and will be installed this week! Also, you will see the walls in the background were painted this last week.
The big push last week was to get the space spruced up and clean. The real activity starts up this week with all the major construction happening. Prior to the construction of the cooler and freezer, we wanted to hit the walls with a fresh coat of paint. Wow, you can sure see the difference.
Bryan, our warehouse manager, is certainly getting to know his warehouse intimately – one brush stroke at a time!
Bobby Morton who formerly worked in our WA warehouse relocated to CA to help launch our operation there! Here he is checking his work.
And where one wall ends, another begins. More work to be done!
