Fifty years ago, Nancy's mom, Granny Peg, baked a legendary zucchini bread that had friends and family showing up at her door hoping for extra. The moist, irresistible recipe sparked Nancy's love for baking and her dream of sharing that kind of joy with the world. When Nancy and her husband John decided to open their first bakery, she brought the flavor while he brought the game plan.
Starting with a box of cherished family recipes and plenty of heart, Nancy and John built Bakehouse Bread Company one loaf at a time. They refused to take shortcuts, baking everything by hand from scratch the old-school way with real eggs, real butter, and real flavor.
