Their business model reflects this, with
shareholder Kuapa Kokoo Farmers’ Union, a co-operative of 100,000 cocoa

distributable profits.
In addition, for over 20
years Divine Chocolate and their farmer co-op partners have shared a
commitment to empowering women. Together, they support women in cocoa
farming so they may develop the skills and confidence to grow better
cocoa, build better communities, and thrive in business. More than a
third of Kuapa Kokoo farmers are women.
