This fun and refreshing garland features mustard, citrus green, cool gray, mint, bright coral, blush, pastel mint and apricot-colored felt balls handcrafted by fair trade artisans in Nepal and strung with love by Sheep Farm Felt. Not certified organic.
Product Details:
Garland string is 7 feet long.
Each wool felt ball is approximately 1 in. (2.5 cm.), about the size of a quarter.
Hand felted (may vary slightly in size due to handmade nature).
Single strand, strung on strong, but subtle, white cotton cording.
Spaced 2-3 in. apart, felt balls will span the entire length of the garland. Nestled side-by-side, felt balls will span about 1/3 the total length of the garland.
No knots in string make it easy to customize spacing with a gentle tug.
Ends looped for easy hanging.
About the producer
Sheep Farm Felt began in 2014 when owner, Megan Benson, made felt ball garlands from wool from her parents’ sheep farm. Growing up on the farm, Megan acquired a deep knowledge and respect for the process of transforming sheep’s wool into handmade felt products. The shop grew and she reached out to ethically source wool from a farm in New Zealand and then employ certified fair-trade female artisans in Nepal to sculpt and shape the designs. These beautiful high quality creations are assembled and packaged in Megan’s U.S. studio. Sheep Farm Felt is happy to support women makers in their community and abroad.
