INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Remove the stems from the mushrooms, being careful not to break the caps. Chop the stems and place in a bowl with the Italian sausage, 1/4 cup of romano cheese, parsley, garlic and cream. Mix well. Spoon about a tablespoon of the mixture into each mushroom cap, and place on a baking sheet. Drizzle lightly with olive oil. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until meat is cooked through. Remove mushrooms from the oven and sprinkle with additional romano cheese. Return to oven and broil until the cheese is melted and slightly golden. About 1 minute. Remove from oven and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot.
