Tomatillo Guacamole

A delicious and tangy alternative to traditional guacamole.


makes 4 cups


6 tomatillos, husked, washed and coarsely chopped

4 avocados, peeled and pitted

1 bunch cilantro, leaves only

1 jalapeno, seeded and coarsely chopped

1 onion or 1 bunch green onions, coarsely chopped

1 lime, zested and juiced

1 teaspoon sea salt

¼ teaspoon fresh cracked pepper

½ red bell pepper, finely minced for garnish (optional)



In a food processor, combine all the ingredients except for the red bell pepper and pulse until all the big chunks are chopped, about 1-2 minutes.

Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Fold in the minced red bell pepper and serve with tortilla chips or crackers.
