Overnight Oats (Salad In A Jar)

Mornings can be hectic, but these Overnight Oats from the Salad In A Jar cookbook make breakfast a breeze! Assemble a few jars at the beginning of the week, and you'll have a grab-and-go breakfast perfect for any member of the family.

SERVING SIZE

makes 1.75 cups

INGREDIENTS

1/3 cup rolled oats

6 tablespoons fresh apple juice

2 tablespoons dried fruit, chopped

3 tablespoons plain yogurt

4 tablespoons apple, chopped

2 tablespoons walnuts, chopped

1 teaspoon maple syrup

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Place the oats in the bottom of a small jar. Add the apple juice and then the dried fruit and mix to combine. Leave for 15 minutes, or overnight. Add the yogurt, apple, chopped nuts, and maple syrup. Seal the jar tightly.  Eat it straight out of the jar!
