
This salad is simple to make with a spicy peppery bite from the watercress, sweet citrus from the kumquats and fresh crunchy cucumbers.
INSTRUCTIONS
Make the dressing by whisking together all the ingredients until well combined. Set aside.
In a small sauté pan, toast the sesame seeds until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes. Set aside.
In a medium bowl toss the watercress with half of the dressing.
Place the watercress on serving dishes and top with sliced kumquats, cucumber and avocado. Drizzle remaining dressing on top, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and sprinkle with freshly cracked pepper to taste.
