
Lemon and garlic add some zing to earthy broccoli in this deliciously simple sauté!
INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Using the lemon juice will turn the broccoli a little bit brown.
In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Cook the broccoli until it turns dark green, about 1 to 2 minutes. Drain and put the broccoli in ice water to prevent it from cooking.
In a large saute pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the broccoli and lemon zest and cook until the broccoli is tender, about 4 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve.
