Mushroom Spaghetti Sauce

Although we love our Organic Heirloom Tomato Sauce as it is, adding in some mushrooms and other flavors makes it feel like it's your own.

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup olive oil

1 onion, minced

1 garlic clove

1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced

1/4 cup parsley, chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 cup Organic Heirloom Tomato Sauce (or other jarred tomato sauce)

 

INSTRUCTIONS

In a medium saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, mushrooms and parsley and cook until the onions are beginning to turn golden brown. Add the salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and Organic Heirloom Tomato Sauce. Cook until heated through. Serve over pasta, spaghetti squash or vegetables.
